Reflective support for practitioners working at the threshold
I offer reflective practitioner support for therapists, bodyworkers, homeopaths, somatic practitioners, coaches and other professionals working therapeutically with people.
This work is especially helpful when a client case feels complex, charged, unclear, or when you notice yourself pulled into fixing, over-responsibility, doubt or overthinking.
Together we slow the work down and listen for what may be asking for attention.
The aim is not to find clever answers.
It is to see more clearly.
A space for clearer discernment
I understand symptoms, behaviours and stuck patterns as adaptive organisations rather than fixed identities.
In these sessions, we may explore what the client’s system has organised around, what may be protected, what has priority, and what condition may allow the next movement towards life.
This is reflective work. It does not replace your own judgement, training or clinical responsibility. It offers a grounded space to think, sense and discern more clearly.
Who this is for
This work may be helpful if you are a:
- homeopath
- Bowen therapist
- bodyworker
- somatic practitioner
- counsellor or psychotherapist
- coach
- healer
- creative facilitator
- practitioner working with trauma-informed or body-based approaches
You may come because you feel stuck with a client, unsure of the next step, or aware that something important is happening but difficult to name.
What we may explore
Together we may look at:
- stuck or complex client work
- uncertainty about the next step
- over-responsibility, rescuing or fixing
- countertransference, resonance or body responses
- field dynamics within the work
- places where you feel confused, charged or pulled off-centre
- what may be organising the client’s pattern
- what may be protected or overwhelmed
- what has priority now
- what next movement may be possible
The focus is to help you return to a clearer, steadier relationship with the work.
Homeopathic case reflection
For homeopaths, these sessions may also include reflection on case direction, remedy themes, the vital force, obstacles to cure, and the deeper pattern beneath the presenting symptoms.
This is not about prescribing for you or replacing your own judgement.
It is about creating a reflective space where the case can be seen more clearly, and where symptom, story, body and field can be considered together.
VAST and field-based understanding
My somatic and field-based work has been deeply informed by my studies with Emily Waymire’s VAST methodology.
VAST has helped give language and structure to something I had long recognised in practice: that protective patterns are not failures, but intelligent survival organisations, and that healing involves movement from Trauma Field towards Generative Field.
This informs the way I listen for priority, protection, field dynamics and the conditions needed for movement.
This may support you if:
- you feel stuck with a client
- you are unsure what is most important in the work
- you sense something in the session but cannot quite name it
- you feel pulled into fixing, rescuing or overthinking
- you want to develop more confidence in your perception
- you want support with case direction or remedy reflection
- you want to work more cleanly with body, field, symptom and story
- you are looking for reflective support that honours depth without getting lost in theory
How to prepare for a session
Before a session, it can be helpful to prepare a brief outline of the client, case or situation you wish to bring.
You do not need to write a full case history. A few clear notes are usually enough.
You may wish to include:
- the main issue or question
- what feels stuck, unclear or charged
- a recent moment from the work that feels significant
- what you noticed in your own body or response
- what has helped the client so far
- what seems to overwhelm or protect them
- any ethical, safety or scope-of-practice concerns
- what you would like to leave the session clearer about
Together we will listen for what has priority, what may be organising the pattern, and what may support the next clean step in the work.
